Introduction

Welcome! Research in our lab focuses on the evolutionary ecology of flowering plants and their pollinators. We address questions concerning the influence of pollinators on floral trait evolution and plant community assembly. We use a combination of field experiments and modeling to explore the role of community richness and species relatedness in pollinator-mediated selection. Other related projects have examined diversification in relation to floral symmetry, pollinator-mediated interactions between invasives and natives, and the evolution of floral trait specialization to insect pollinators. Read about how you could be a part of our team by exploring the 'opportunities' link to the left.
