Notes
1 ITI1120 is a prerequisite for most further courses in computer science. GNG1106 is recommended for students not taking further computer science courses.
2The following courses are recommended as particularly useful: MAT3130, MAT3155, MAT3341, MAT3380, MAT3395, MAT4183, MAT4381, MAT4385, MAT4386, MAT4387, MAT4388.
3 Out of the 18 elective credits, some breadth in other sciences is recommended and the following course in particular: CHM1311.
4 MAT2371 is a prerequisite for most further MAT courses in probability and statistics.
5 May be taken anytime in 3rd or 4th year if prerequisites satisfied.

For students registered in the Faculty of Science: If the components of your program of study require common compulsory courses, you will have to replace the credits as follows:
1) 1000-level courses must be replaced with electives;
2) 2000-level courses and above must be replaced with courses from either discipline at the same level or above.
Please note that all programs in the Faculty of Science require a minimum of 12 credits from the Faculties of Arts, Education, Law, Social Science or the School of Management.
