Research Interests:
Dr. Desrochers studies Lower Paleozoic carbonate depositional systems and is in the process of developing a set of depositional and diagenetic models for comparison with other parts of the Middle Ordovician to Silurian foreland basins (e.g. western Newfoundland, St. Lawrence Lowlands, and Ottawa Embayment) that evolved from the Appalachian orogen in eastern Canada.
