Sudden passing of Professor Keith Fagnou
It is with great sadness that the Department of Chemistry and the Faculty of Science announce the sudden passing of Professor Keith Fagnou on November 11, 2009.
Professor Fagnou was an outstanding scientist, teacher, and mentor. He will be missed by all his colleagues and students as a leader, a teacher, a passionate scientist, and a good friend.
Our thoughts and sympathy go to his family, friends, colleagues and students.
The family will receive friends at the McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road, on Sunday, November 15, 2009, starting at 12 p.m. This will be followed by a memorial service in the chapel at 2 p.m.
A shuttle will be available for students and staff who wish to attend the service. The first bus will leave from 100 Marie Curie at 11:45 a.m. and the last bus will return from the funeral home at 3:30 p.m. These buses will be departing every thirty minutes.
